Dear Chris: Enter Shikari is one of my influence for Human Contradiction.
The arpegiator on the chorus of What I Am is an idea coming from this band and the album a reference of how to mix synthesizers in rock...

But the idea to make a cover, I don't like it: the song is too new, too perfect...

Oh didn't know that. I discovered them through this song about a year ago or so.

Funny, those guys know how to make a gig a party for sure.

The only thing I reproach to this band is that they have no look, no image on stage.
They are with t-shirt and jeans like a punk band: that's not correspond to their music !

I humbly disagree with this. They are all about fun, for a very young target group, bad guys without looking evil, it works, check their live vids and how the audience is jumping about when they play.

So I do think they have a very strong image, fun-metal-techno cool dudes for people from 15-25 who are somewhere between emo, techno and metal and like to pogo.

Moi pas. Pas convaincu du tout qu'on sera à la hauteur. Et le pire c'est que comme ce n'est pas bien connu de notre public, on va croire qu'on a écrit notre meilleur morceau - et que c'est dommage qu'il n'est pas sur l'album !

Faut pas faire des cover pour les mettre sur un album. On peut en faire pour jouer live.

Yeah it was just a thought. Kind of a psychotic thing for me that when I love a song, I always wanna play it. But indeed, we might wanna work on our own stuff first, and covers on the side - but they only make sense if everyone's d'accord with them.
