Achat nouveau PC... ou Mac

I'd like to share a little story: in '96 I did HD Recording with Cubasis AV on 4 tracks stereo and there was low quality real time delay and reverb, but I thought it was amazing to be able to do that.

One day, I went to a friend's and saw for the first time a Mac, and he had Cubase open, doing some MIDI stuff. I was sceptical about the Mac thing. I asked whether there was Audio capability too, so very cool, he just opened the Mixer and there it was: 32 tracks of Audio, all with respectable quality realtime FX and stuff, my jaw dropped!

I wasn't much into Guitar anymore at that time, so I regretfully sold my Rivera Knucklehead 100 and Marshall 4x12 for far too cheap to get my first Mac. Never looked back (except missing the Amp rig maybe).

That's it, Mac user since '96, Logic user since '99. I think the MacBooks are good enough, not crazy about spending the extra $$ to get a "Pro", I rather get the little ones and renew them every 2 years.
